Hello & welcome!

My name is Ramona. I live near Vienna, Austria. (mountains, Mozart, no kangaroos)

This is yet another nature-blog. Here you’ll find a bit of everything: landscapes, photography, parks, trees, botany, gardening and bonsai… A lot of bonsai. Just sayin’.

I got bit by the bonsai bug in 2008, and I’m still a greenhorn. My own little nursery grows since 2014. Friends bring me potted plants for rescuing, and then they tend to forget about them, which is great.

I prefer deciduous trees, from local flora (outdoor bonsai), cause conifers are hard. Really hard… And I don’t want to kill another one.
